Associate Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide system analysis, object-oriented design, and technical documentation for new and existing applications.
• Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and implementation of applications and scripts.
• Work with project teams to refine technical requirements and provide design guidance based on industry best practices.
• Maintain, support, and enhance existing applications while participating in regular code reviews.
• Lead implementation efforts for code deployments to non-production and production environments.
• Participate in production issue analysis and perform root cause analysis for implementation or system issues.
• Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to improve current system behaviors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Frontend development experience using ReactJS, NodeJS, NextJS, and modern JavaScript toolsets.
• Technical working experience with Core Java (Version 8 or higher) or JDK 17+.
• Basic understanding of the Spring framework (Spring Boot) and Kafka.
• Familiarity with SOAP/REST services and IDEs like IntelliJ or Eclipse.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Gradle, or Maven.
• Basic understanding of Google Cloud and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in an Agile environment using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
