Associate Platform Engineer (Informatica)

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and manage the Informatica Product Suite, including Power Center, Data Quality, Metadata Manager, and Master Data Management.
• Architect environments following best practices and implement Informatica products during platform migrations (e.g., IBM AIX to Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
• Perform consolidation of Informatica platforms and configure BCPDR or Load Shift testing.
• Provide operational support for Informatica servers, including server parameter tuning and recovery in case of system failures.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence and ETL teams to develop processes, documentation, and deployment solutions.
• Identify and investigate data quality and integrity issues, providing effective solutions.
• Maintain Informatica on IBM AIX and Linux servers to ensure optimal ETL performance.
• Document technical processes and provide training to team members.

Requirements

• Master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years of dedicated experience in Informatica Administration.
• Extensive experience in performing gap analyses and transition planning within the Informatica Suite.
• Expert knowledge in designing and developing application architectures, including current and future state models.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Informatica Administrator.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Business Objects.
