About the Company

For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care.

Responsibilities

• Assume temporary duties of patient care during assigned periods of time at the discretion of the Calvary Hospital Medical Director
• Provide care for patients in the advanced stage of disease

Requirements

• Medical degree from an approved institution
• New York State License
• Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Board of Family Practice, or substantially equivalent training
• Competence in caring for patients in advanced stages of disease
• Ability and attitude aligned with the spirit of care and tradition of Calvary Hospital
