Associate Personal Banker (SAFE)

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate financial products and digital solutions.
• Assist customers with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
• Maintain a cash drawer, including cash handling and balancing duties.
• Refer customers' financial needs to appropriate bankers and partners within the branch.
• Comply with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulatory requirements.
• Educate customers on mobile banking options and digital tools to help them succeed financially.

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience interacting with customers (can include work, training, military, or education).
• Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays.
• Ability to perform cash handling and maintain a cash drawer.
• Ability to meet SAFE registration requirements at the time of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
• Proven ability to proactively engage customers via phone or email.
• Strong skills in identifying potential fraud or risky accounts to prevent loss.
• Experience working collaboratively within a team to meet customer needs.
