Associate Personal Banker (SAFE)

Responsibilities

• Build lasting customer relationships through proactive conversations to support financial well-being
• Lead discovery-driven discussions to understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products and services
• Drive branch growth by identifying opportunities and making appropriate referrals to specialists
• Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications
• Perform cash handling and teller line activities accurately while maintaining compliance and operational standards
• Utilize digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support evolving banking needs
• Collaborate with branch teammates to ensure seamless customer handoffs and service delivery

Requirements

• 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
• Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
• SAFE registration is required at the time of employment (process initiated after start date)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role
• Experience building trust-based relationships through active listening and consistent engagement
• Comfort initiating customer outreach via calls or emails to identify opportunities
• Demonstrated ability to follow strict policies and regulations while identifying risk concerns
