Associate Patient Care Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for the practice, greeting customers in person and over the phone
• Obtain and update accurate patient information, including contact details and insurance data
• Perform insurance verification on the date of service and follow payment security protocols
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments as directed by the care team
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, records, and patient signatures for required documents
• Upload valid government-issued IDs and insurance cards into the system
• Maintain an organized, clean, and clutter-free work area
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations, OSHA/WISHA guidelines, and established office policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of computer proficiency (including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• 1+ years of customer service or healthcare experience
• Ability to travel between the Edmonds and Everett, WA locations

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working with Epic EMR software
• Experience managing inbound and outbound phone calls
• Previous experience in a medical office performing scheduling, check-in/out, or insurance verification
