Associate Pastor

Responsibilities

• Execute regular Starting Point classes to help people commit to Jesus Christ and the local campus
• Champion baptism and follow-up processes to ensure people take their next steps in faith
• Recruit, train, and develop group coaches and Next Step Center coaches
• Oversee CCV Groups by casting vision and helping coaches focus on community and spiritual growth
• Provide pastoral care including weddings, funerals, hospital visits, and family dedications
• Build relationships with local community leaders and organizations

Requirements

• Alignment with CCV CORE Values and Staff Fundamentals
• Active membership and regular worship attendance at CCV
• Demonstrated maturity as a Christ follower
• Ability to motivate, recruit, lead, and mobilize volunteers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
• Experience serving or leading in a church setting
• Experience mentoring or leading others to Christ

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Biblical Studies
• Experience working in Ministry
