Associate Paraplanner

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of Statements of Advice (SoAs), Records of Advice (RoAs), and Review Reports
• Gather, collate, and validate client information for advice preparation
• Maintain accurate client records and data within Xplan and other business systems
• Conduct research on investments, superannuation, insurance, and other financial products
• Support the preparation of cashflow projections, modelling, and strategy analysis
• Assist with portfolio reviews, investment reports, and client presentation materials
• Support implementation activities and follow-up requests with product providers and insurers
• Monitor workflows to ensure timely completion of advice-related tasks
• Ensure documentation and file management comply with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in financial services, client service, administration, or adviser support
• RG146 compliance or willingness to obtain it
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving capability

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or Business
• Exposure to Xplan or similar financial planning software
