Associate or Full Clinical Professor and Medical Director

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation for the Department of Medical Sciences
• Provide academic counseling, mentorship, and instruction to students
• Oversee program accreditation activities and ensure compliance with ARC-PA Standards
• Participate in program administration, including admissions committees and clinical site development
• Monitor and document student performance to ensure successful course completion
• Assist the Program Director in ensuring didactic and clinical instruction meets medical practice standards
• Oversee the immunization record process for incoming and current students

Requirements

• Currently or previously licensed Physician (MD/DO) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Currently or previously board-certified
• Licensed or eligible for licensure within the State of Washington
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience as a practicing physician
• Proven teaching experience, ideally in physician assistant education
• Strong interpersonal communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with computer technology and educational databases

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior administrative leadership experience
• Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Background in program accreditation and continuous self-study processes
• Experience with technology integration and online learning environments
