About the role
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect products during operation and monitor equipment for proper function
- Assist with the setup and operation of production equipment
- Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment to maintain an orderly work area
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored
- Document material runs using Batch Production records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets
- Assist in training new personnel under supervisor guidance
- Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, and micrometers
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Up to two years of experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to wear a respirator
- Physical ability to stoop, climb ladders/stairs, and stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to identify small defects and distinguish between colors
