Associate Operator

Responsibilities

• Complete production batches safely, on time, and within specification following standard Operating Discipline
• Execute assigned work using batch tickets and detailed procedures
• Monitor QC progress and packaging needs to ensure continuous batch movement
• Perform safety and compliance checks, including the use of proper PPE and housekeeping
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and emergency response as directed
• Collaborate with QC Lab, Site Logistics, EH&S, and R&D functions to support plant goals
• Maintain clear communication between shifts to ensure safe and accurate batch completion

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid US driver's license (required to drive a forklift)
• Ability to work permanent shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and overtime as needed
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing/industrial experience or 3+ years of military experience
• Associate's degree in Chemical Technology, Manufacturing, or Chemical Processing
• Previous experience in a chemical or petrochemical manufacturing environment
• Experience with Hazmat, LOTO, Safe Work Permits, or operating HMIs and machinery
