About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for physicians and patients within the support program
- Manage the full patient enrollment process from initial contact through the start of therapy
- Conduct welcome calls to gather information, introduce program offerings, and obtain necessary consents
- Act as a patient advocate by exploring medication funding options and managing reimbursement processes
- Maintain expert knowledge of public and private reimbursement mechanisms within the assigned territory
- Provide accurate and timely patient charting and updates within the CRM
- Coordinate program services including case management support, prescription coordination, and self-injection training
- Report all Adverse Events (AE) and Product Technical Complaints (PTC) immediately according to policy
- Collaborate with Program Management and Field Case Managers to resolve patient concerns or escalations
Requirements
- College Diploma or University degree
- 2-3 years of experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
- 2-3 years of experience in a Customer Service or Call Centre environment
- Experience with public (provincial/federal) and private third-party drug reimbursement plans
- Strong comprehension of medical terminology and ability to interpret patient charts
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience using customer relationship databases
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to work flexible hours between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to speak multiple languages
- Established relationships with healthcare customers in a specific territory
- Deep knowledge of public, private, and federal reimbursement processes
