Associate/Of Counsel - Intellectual Property

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patent applications
• Prepare patent opinion letters
• Provide patent counseling to clients
• Conduct patent due diligence studies in connection with business transactions
• Collaborate with other firm practices to provide full-service support to life science companies

Requirements

• Advanced degree (JD and relevant scientific background)
• 7+ years of patent prosecution experience
• Background in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or materials science
• Current patent bar membership
• Previous law firm or industry experience
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
