About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategic liaison between Nursing Leadership, Medical Staff, and Information Systems to optimize clinical workflows.
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to execute a multi-year strategic roadmap for Nursing Informatics.
  • Provide visionary leadership, performance management, and operational direction to the Clinical Informatics Specialist team.
  • Translate complex technical architectures into intuitive, efficient workflows for practicing clinicians.
  • Conduct systematic evaluations of clinical information systems using data analytics to improve user experience.
  • Manage partnerships with EHR vendors and medical device hardware providers.
  • Lead technical-clinical teams in deploying software updates and governing clinical downtime workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Current RN licensure.
  • 8 years of clinical informatics experience.
  • 5 years of nursing experience.
  • 2 years of leadership experience in Clinical Informatics or a related area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing, Informatics, or a related field.
  • Certification in Nursing Informatics or a related field.
  • Epic Certification.
