About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for a large private communications network, serving as the first line of support for customer and field calls.
- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network problems within an operations center using specialized management and monitoring tools.
- Log calls, perform preliminary investigations into reported issues, and create trouble tickets to initiate resolution workflows.
- Employ various test methods to remotely analyze Enterprise Data networks, including T1, T3, Ethernet, IP, and RF.
- Interpret equipment alarms on on-premise or telecommunications network equipment to facilitate service restoration.
- Collaborate with internal and external groups to resolve network trouble and interact directly with customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Networking, or Information Technology (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Degree must have been completed within the last 12 months.
- Ability to work in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and maintain workday schedule flexibility.
- Must be able to work onsite in Melbourne, FL, due to secure network access requirements.
