Associate Motion Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

• Work within the LA28 brand design system to ensure consistency and visual cohesion across all deliverables
• Contribute to the development and expansion of the LA28 motion design language
• Collaborate in the development of mood boards, style frames, and animatics
• Animate 2D graphics, emblems, program marks, and brand elements
• Design and produce dynamic motion graphics for social content, venue takeover, and live event screens
• Produce broadcast and digital content assets including lower thirds and animated transitions
• Build and animate graphic packages for sport presentation and in-venue branded content
• Manage the full motion production pipeline from concept through final delivery
• QA all motion assets to ensure they meet creative and technical standards
• Implement creative feedback efficiently while staying true to original intent
• Create motion templates, MOGRTs, and rendered asset libraries

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of professional motion design experience
• Strong design fundamentals in composition, typography, and storytelling
• Understanding of character animation and the 12 principles of animation
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Media Encoder
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience in all design phases from research to final production
• Proficiency in macOS
• BFA or BA in Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design, or related field
• Portfolio required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, or Unreal
• Experience with sport presentation graphics, broadcast packaging, or live event production
• Experience creating MOGRTs and motion templates for cross-team use
