About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of media stocks and sterilization of accessories via autoclave cycles
  • Manage receipt, storage, and handling of Bio ball cultures and assist in the maintenance of Master cultures
  • Perform microbiological tests including water analysis, Microbial Limit Test, Sterility tests, Bacterial Endotoxin Test (BET), CCIT, and micro challenge studies
  • Interpret and evaluate data for accuracy, precision, and trends to recommend corrective actions under cGMP impact
  • Ensure all documentation and quality records comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
  • Review and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and analytical methods
  • Conduct analyses on finished products, raw materials, and components, including data entry and review in computerized databases

Requirements

  • MSC in microbiology or biotechnology
  • 4-7 years of relevant microbiological experience
  • Demonstrated technical skills in method validation and testing (Bioburden, sterility, and BET testing)
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and its application
  • Ability to read and understand compendial methods, SOPs, and governmental regulations
  • Proficiency with Quality Control instruments and general computer skills
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record in leading continuous improvement projects
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, six sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis
  • Experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot) to support problem-solving and productivity
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
