About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials including slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and infographics.
  • Perform data-checking, proofreading, and literature reviews to ensure accuracy and client readiness.
  • Liaise with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders to anticipate and meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with client directors to execute medical communications initiatives in the digital space, such as interactive assets and patient narratives.
  • Ensure all materials comply with client requirements, SOPs, style guides, and internal CACTUS protocols.
  • Maintain current awareness of developments across various therapeutic areas to provide intellectual input across document types.

Requirements

  • PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field; PharmD, MD, or MBBS is also required.
  • Strong scientific writing skills with a clear, concise style and high attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of clinical research and medical communications.
  • Proficiency in literature reviewing and evaluation.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Very good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a dynamic matrix team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-doctoral research experience.
