About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Global Medical Advisor and Scientific Advisor on assigned clinical trial projects
  • Provide medical support to investigative sites regarding protocol clarifications, patient safety, and eligibility
  • Perform medical reviews of protocols, Investigative Drug Brochures (IDB), and Case Report Forms (CRFs)
  • Conduct medical review of trial-related Adverse Events (AEs) and potentially Serious Adverse Events (SAEs)
  • Provide therapeutic area training to project clinical teams and present at Investigator Meetings
  • Review Clinical Study Reports (CSR) and patient narratives
  • Support business development activities with therapeutic and medical expertise

Requirements

  • Medical Degree from an accredited institution and a valid medical license
  • Board Certification in Cardiology
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical medicine
  • Proven experience in clinical trials within the Pharma, CRO, or Biotech industry
  • Deep knowledge of cardiology, metabolic diseases, and nephrology
  • Understanding of federal and local regulations pertaining to clinical research
  • Fluency in English and extensive communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or knowledge in Phase I studies or early clinical development
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the competitive landscape in the therapeutic area
