About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up, execute, and document impact tests and test procedures for sponsored research projects
- Maintain test facility readiness, lab organization, and housekeeping
- Assist in the design and fabrication of target fixtures
Requirements

- Experience working with basic hand tools
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship (required due to federal research contract requirements)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- Knowledge of Solidworks or CAD software
- Familiarity with the operation of milling machines and lathes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean laboratory environment
- Ability to follow complex test procedures and document technical results
- Experience assisting with fixture design and fabrication
