About the role
Responsibilities
- Own and drive equipment lifecycle management, including URS development, design review, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and qualification.
- Lead reliability engineering initiatives such as FMEA, RCA, MTBF/MTTR analysis, and RCM strategies.
- Optimize predictive and preventive maintenance to ensure high availability and cGMP compliance.
- Perform engineering evaluations of equipment failures and implement permanent solutions to enhance operational performance.
- Coordinate equipment improvement projects, modifications, and asset upgrade initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, equipment master data, and criticality assessments in compliance with SOPs and audit requirements.
- Develop long-term asset replacement strategies and capital planning based on condition assessments and failure data.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and EHS teams to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in equipment lifecycle management and reliability engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of URS development, FAT/SAT, and commissioning processes.
- Proficiency in failure analysis methodologies including FMEA and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Experience with MTBF/MTTR analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies.
- Deep understanding of cGMP compliance and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage technical documentation and equipment master data accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma improvement frameworks.
- Background in digitalization initiatives within a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in budget management and cost forecasting for equipment systems.
