Associate Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detail, assembly, and installation drawings using 2D and 3D CAD tools
• Generate complete documentation packages including BOMs, material specifications, and GD&T tolerances
• Select design solutions and assess trade-offs for manufacturability, cost, weight, and quality
• Participate in design reviews and propose design alternatives
• Manage work within project schedules and budget constraints
• Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S) in engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience
• Proficiency in Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AutoCAD or Inventor preferred)
• Knowledge of industry design and documentation standards such as ASME
• Experience in manufacturing techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
• US Person status required for ITAR compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Aviation background
• Aircraft interior experience
