Associate (M&E Data Analyst)

Responsibilities

• Support public sector partners by cleaning, transforming, and conducting quality checks on data to ensure accuracy for analysis
• Analyze datasets to extract actionable insights and recommendations for program improvement
• Model data to identify patterns, reveal relationships, and forecast future trends using statistical techniques
• Create data visualizations to communicate complex findings to decision-makers
• Translate technical insights into clear memos, well-structured slides, and digestible narratives
• Conduct research to generate evidence that drives greater impact for governments and non-profits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant full-time work experience in analytics, data science, economics, or program evaluation
• Strong quantitative analysis skills with experience in statistics and econometrics
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
• Business-level English fluency
• Must be based in the United States and have valid US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with programming or econometrics software such as Stata, R, or Python
• Knowledge of visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with data warehousing, big data, or machine learning
• Experience using Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support data processing or problem-solving
