About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain highly automated manufacturing equipment, including laser welding, robotic automation, and PCB handling
  • Perform basic repairs and minor daily/weekly preventative maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshoot and identify solutions for minor mechanical errors and process inefficiencies
  • Maintain machine raw material feeds and clear equipment stoppages
  • Utilize human machine interfaces (HMIs) to monitor and correct process control shifts
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean work environment suitable for medical device cleanroom production
  • Document work through computer systems to support material inventory and quality management

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using industrial machines and tools
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a clean room environment
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Ability to stand for at least 75% of a shift and lift up to 20lbs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a regulated industry or start-up production environment
  • Experience debugging and optimizing assembly processes
  • Proficiency in English for reading documentation and technical communication
  • Knowledge of measurement instruments and quality control techniques
