About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain highly automated manufacturing equipment, including laser welding, robotic automation, and PCB handling.
  • Perform basic repairs and minor daily/weekly preventative maintenance tasks to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Monitor machine raw material feeds and utilize human machine interfaces (HMIs) to correct process control shifts.
  • Troubleshoot and identify solutions for minor mechanical errors, safety issues, or operating inefficiencies.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standard operating procedures for material handling and record keeping.
  • Maintain a clean work environment suitable for medical device manufacturing and cleanroom production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and support process validations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using industrial machines and tools.
  • Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic.
  • Ability to stand for at least 75% of a shift and lift up to 20lbs occasionally.
  • Proficiency in English to read documentation and communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a clean room environment.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical device manufacturing).
  • Experience with debugging and optimizing assembly processes.
  • Experience in a start-up production environment.
