About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain highly automated manufacturing equipment to produce medical devices.
  • Perform basic repairs and minor daily/weekly preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain machine raw material feeds and clear equipment stoppages.
  • Utilize human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify and correct process control shifts.
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical errors and operating inefficiencies within production processes.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work environment suitable for medical device and cleanroom production.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of industrial machines and tools.
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic and mathematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Ability to stand for at least 75% of the working shift and walk at least 50% of the time.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs and perform repetitive reaching and pushing/pulling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a cleanroom environment.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical device or pharmaceutical).
  • Experience with debugging and optimizing assembly processes.
  • Experience in a start-up production environment.
