About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain highly automated manufacturing equipment, including laser welding, robotic automation, and PCB handling.
  • Perform basic repairs and minor daily/weekly preventative maintenance tasks to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain machine raw material feeds and clear equipment stoppages or faults.
  • Utilize Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to identify and correct process control shifts.
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical errors and identify solutions for operating inefficiencies.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work environment suitable for medical device cleanroom production.
  • Work the weekend day shift (Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:30 pm).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using industrial machines and tools.
  • Proficiency in English for reading documentation and written communication.
  • Ability to stand for at least 75% of the shift and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20lbs.
  • Basic mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a cleanroom environment.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with debugging and optimizing assembly processes.
  • Experience in a start-up production environment.
