About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
  • Create, coordinate, and issue manufacturing plans for shop consumption
  • Provide on-site engineering support to resolve technical problems impacting performance, cost, or schedule
  • Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability
  • Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible definitions
  • Foresee and prevent potential conflicts and risks associated with work tasks
  • Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
  • US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in product design, fabrication, assembly, and structural testing within the aerospace industry
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and other relevant engineering tools
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with production personnel
