Associate, Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Work in a 100% cGMP manufacturing facility performing biopharmaceutical processes.
• Operate processes including cell culture, cell production, protein harvest, and protein purification.
• Execute technical tasks such as depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, column chromatography, and formulation of bulk drug substance.
• Support initiatives for process optimization and identify/elevate processing issues to support solutions.
• Maintain a broad understanding of scientific, compliance, and technical components of manufacturing.

Requirements

• 4 years of college or 2 years of a biotechnology program.
• 2 years of industry experience.
• Understanding of pH, cell culture, and bioreactors.
• Knowledge of process theory and equipment operation.
• Demonstrated experience with automation systems such as LIMS, MES, or PI.
• Ability to work the night shift (Wednesday–Sunday, 18:00–07:00, 12-hour shifts).
