About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead regional practice areas by developing business plans, target pursuits, and executing diverse projects.
- Drive revenue growth, aiming for 8% year-over-year increases and managing a personal revenue goal of $1-1.5 million.
- Manage office-level P&L, including tracking financial performance metrics such as multiplier, billing, and collections.
- Build and mentor staff, overseeing talent growth, recruitment, performance reviews, and training needs.
- Cultivate deep relationships with prospective clients, architects, PM/CM firms, and general contractors.
- Ensure technical excellence and project quality through rigorous QA/QC oversight.
- Negotiate contracts, write proposals, and implement company-wide standards and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (significant experience may be substituted for exceptional candidates).
- 15+ years of relevant market design experience.
- 5+ years of engineering management and P&L experience.
- 5+ years of business development experience within engineering or construction.
- Thorough knowledge of MEP systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration is highly desired.
- Ability to travel regionally within the East Coast and occasionally internationally.
