About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full administrative lifecycle of ER cases including intake logging, corrective action preparation, and documentation tracking
  • Own end-to-end LOA coordination including state-specific paperwork and timeline tracking
  • Maintain ER case queue integrity and flag aging cases or missing documentation to the HRBP
  • Coordinate the annual training calendar, including scheduling, logistics, and attendance tracking
  • Administer the LMS, including enrollment, completion tracking, and compliance reporting
  • Support onboarding program execution and maintain onboarding bundles
  • Partner with HR Ops on leave administration handoffs and payroll implications
  • Update People team SOPs and maintain version control for documentation

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of HR, People Operations, or L&D coordination experience in multi-unit retail, hospitality, or distributed workforce environments
  • Prior hands-on experience with leave administration (FMLA, state-level paid sick leave, and ADA)
  • Experience with HRIS and case management or project tracking tools
  • Strong documentation discipline and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Based in New York City or tri-state area with ability to work in-person at HQ at least 3 days per week
