Associate Manager, Project Finance

Responsibilities

• Manage Order to Cash (O2C) activities for a global Research & Development Services portfolio
• Lead and manage a small team of 3-4 project finance personnel, providing training and coaching
• Govern monthly revenue and backlog accounting, identifying and correcting exceptions
• Analyze key project performance metrics including backlog variance, write-offs, unbilled amounts, and EBITDA
• Support internal stakeholders including Account Management, Project Operations, and Business Finance teams
• Utilize PeopleSoft ERP for project setup, contract maintenance, revenue plans, and billing plans
• Support management in compliance, quality assurance, process documentation, and lean projects

Requirements

• Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in commerce, economics, accounting, or management (Accounting education is mandatory)
• 8+ years of finance and accounting experience for Post-Graduates
• 10+ years of finance and accounting experience for Graduates
• Strong knowledge of statutory and management accounting
• Demonstrated ability to manage people and lead teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural, transnational environment and willingness to work in shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience working with the PeopleSoft PA module
