Associate Manager, Production Planning

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily and weekly inventory activities and production schedules to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Manage resource allocation and materials to ensure production goals and targets are met in a timely manner.
• Supervise and lead a production team by providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor inventory levels of buy materials to ensure adequate supplies are available for manufacturing operations.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, variances, and areas for process improvement.
• Liaise with procurement, planning, scheduling, production, and quality control departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure all production activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, OR a Graduate Degree with 4 years of experience, OR 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Significant knowledge and experience working with, managing, and planning within ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred).
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing, assembly, and test operations.
• Proven experience leading and managing teams and executing processes or projects.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to meet production deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS certification is strongly desired.
