Associate Manager, Production

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise work within the production department to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
• Create and monitor production schedules, adjusting as needed to meet goals and forecasted demand.
• Develop annual production plans, organizational structures, and operator headcount estimates based on capacity.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and engineering project execution to resolve production flaws.
• Manage and develop staff, including performance appraisals, training, and addressing staffing needs.
• Coordinate with R&D, Process Engineering, Quality, and Sales teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Monitor and implement changes in equipment usage to improve labor utilization and production efficiency.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead and motivate staff.
• Proficiency in MS Word and the MS Office suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a production manager or superintendent in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Quality management, Industrial management, and related data analysis.
• Experience conducting manufacturing inspections and setting operational standards.
• Proven ability to write professional reports and present information effectively to management and customers.
