Associate Manager - Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes and facilities in compliance with cGMP, regulatory, and safety requirements.
• Support process automation, technology transfer, CIP/SIP design, and equipment/facility engineering activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure robust, compliant, and efficient operations.
• Participate in the design and engineering of new facilities and expansions, including process flow, utilities, and capacity calculations.
• Execute and support Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities for equipment, utilities, and automation systems.
• Prepare and review DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols and reports.
• Support regulatory audits and inspections related to qualified systems.
• Develop, configure, test, and maintain DCS batch recipes in line with process requirements and ISA-88 standards.

Requirements

• B-Tech or M-Tech degree.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience handling Green Field and Brown field projects.
• Professional experience in MSAT, R&D, or Process Engineering.
• Working knowledge of industry test standards, regulatory guidance, Design Controls, and the Product Development Process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with DCS systems, preferably DeltaV.
• Experience with DCS logic development, testing, and qualification activities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven track record of teamwork.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies.
