Associate Manager, Operations Management

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team to manage product line planning, safety, quality, and cost targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Manage direct reports to ensure product line schedules and staffing requirements are met
• Champion safety and 5S+1 initiatives to drive an improved culture and ensure employee safety through Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
• Serve as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) to meet cost targets and estimated costs at completion
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and reduce lead times
• Collaborate across functional departments to ensure efficient hardware transition through the factory
• Lead product line Gemba processes and develop proposal strategies for operations bids

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience
• Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience
• Or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
• Experience in Material Planning and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Experience managing production programs involving the build, integration, and test of electronic or electromechanical systems
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles such as 3P, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Root Cause Analysis, and Pull-Flow
• Previous supervisory or cross-functional team leadership experience
