Associate Manager Manufacturing Finance

Responsibilities

• Focus on costing and providing informative analyses of manufacturing and distribution operations
• Provide timely and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to internal customers
• Maintain capital spend projects, including forecasted spend, actuals, capitalization, and depreciation
• Support the development of manufacturing and Distribution & Transportation (D&T) department budgets
• Analyze significant monthly operating variances for Direct Labor, Manufacturing/D&T Expense, Scrap, and Material Usage
• Meet monthly closing requirements and perform account reconciliations to reflect current financial status
• Support accurate cost files through regular review and explanation of variances
• Reconcile goods receipts and invoice receipts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finance
• Demonstrated understanding of managerial accounting within a manufacturing and D&T environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
• Strong analytical and technical accounting skills
• Ability to manage change and assimilate new ideas in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cost accounting and analysis
• Proficiency using SAP Financial and Costing modules
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or D&T principles
