Associate Manager, Lab Centralized Monitoring

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support a team of Centralised Monitoring project coordinators (CPCs)
• Plan, assign, and direct work while mentoring and assisting in the training of CPCs
• Manage staff performance, professional development, and employee relations issues
• Establish close working relationships with global project and operational teams to ensure study quality and productivity
• Participate in the selection, interviewing, and onboarding process for new staff
• Oversee staff training plans, SOP reviews, and system access requirements
• Track staff output quality through regular mini-audits and report relevant metrics to management
• Lead investigations into quality incidents, including root cause analysis and CAPA plan identification
• Identify risks and implement corrective action plans to prevent performance deficiencies

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a clinical, hospital, or laboratory background
• 1-2 years of direct line management or people management experience
• Educational background in Life Sciences
• In-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ICH guidelines
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and general computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Ability to work onsite in Kochi, India, 5 days a week
