Associate Manager, Infrastructure BizOps (Foundation)

Responsibilities

• Own on-prem capacity planning by translating engineering demand into server/rack requirements, power/space envelopes, and performance assumptions.
• Build and manage the multi-year CapEx and OpEx plan for the Foundation product line, including asset lifecycles and timing.
• Lead hardware and capacity sourcing, including OEM/VAR negotiations, supply-chain management, and decommissioning strategies.
• Structure large on-prem commitments such as colocation and hardware agreements, modeling total cost of ownership and risk.
• Execute the on-prem FP&A cycle, including annual operating plans (AOP), reforecasts, and variance analysis.
• Partner with Datacenter, Production Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to execute infrastructure strategy.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in finance, infrastructure finance, strategic finance, or a closely related field.
• Strong quantitative modeling skills with a demonstrated ability to structure large financial commitments.
• Familiarity with on-prem infrastructure buildouts, including datacenters, hardware sourcing, or capacity planning.
• Proven ability to manage ambiguous, high-stakes decisions independently.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at a Hyperscaler, Neocloud, or within datacenter/infrastructure operations.
• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a similar high-intensity financial role.
• Exposure to structured real-estate or asset-finance transactions (e.g., sale-leaseback).
• Experience acting as a financial and commercial partner to engineering organizations.
