Associate Manager, Housing Services

Responsibilities

• Execute undergraduate housing assignments for academic and summer periods following established allocation strategies and policies
• Manage room selection, reassignments, cancellations, and interim housing processes
• Process assignment updates in StarRez, ensuring accuracy in placements, billing, and contract status
• Coordinate administrative aspects of hiring casual and temporary staff, including interviewing and onboarding logistics
• Maintain and organize departmental documentation and intranet resources
• Support health and safety inspections and track compliance-related documentation
• Assist with administrative coordination during peak operational periods such as move-in and move-out

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
• 2–4 years of experience in housing, student services, or administrative operations
• Strong organizational, documentation, and coordination skills
• Proficiency with administrative databases (e.g., StarRez) and Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on-site during peak periods, emergencies, weekends, and holidays as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in university housing or large-scale residential operations
• Familiarity with student lifecycle operations and housing assignment processes
• Experience supporting hiring or administrative staffing processes
• Ability to thrive in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
