Associate Manager - Health & Benefits Consulting

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, financing, and management of diverse health and benefit programs, including medical, dental, wellbeing, life, and disability.
• Partner with client service team leaders to deliver superior project management and client service.
• Prepare for client meetings by creating agendas, materials, and presentations.
• Support vendor procurement, implementation, and optimization activities.
• Assist with benefit enrollment support and the preparation of client deliverables such as Form 5500 filings and summary plan descriptions.
• Conduct benefit plan analysis, benchmarking studies, and research to provide value-added summaries.
• Analyze and compare vendor products, services, and contracts.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external professional relationships.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in professional services, ideally within benefit consulting, brokerage, or insurance underwriting/actuarial functions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
• Strong analytical, creative, and integrative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client service orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• State Life and Health license (required within 90 days of joining).
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
