About the role
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, financing, and management of diverse health and benefit programs, including medical, dental, wellbeing, life, and disability.
- Partner with client service team leaders to deliver superior project management and client service.
- Prepare for client meetings by creating agendas, materials, and presentations.
- Support vendor procurement, implementation, and optimization activities.
- Assist with benefit enrollment support and the preparation of client deliverables such as Form 5500 filings and summary plan descriptions.
- Conduct benefit plan analysis, benchmarking studies, and research to provide value-added summaries.
- Analyze and compare vendor products, services, and contracts.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external professional relationships.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in professional services, ideally within benefit consulting, brokerage, or insurance underwriting/actuarial functions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
- Strong analytical, creative, and integrative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- State Life and Health license (required within 90 days of joining).
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
