Associate Manager, GMP Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Maintenance Technicians responsible for planned and corrective maintenance on GMP manufacturing and laboratory equipment
• Oversee GMP maintenance and continuous improvement of manufacturing and laboratory equipment control systems
• Collaborate with the CMMS team to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans
• Execute maintenance activities in accordance with Quality and EHSS standards
• Manage spare parts, consumables, and inventory to ensure infrastructure reliability
• Oversee external contractors and review third-party maintenance documentation
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QC, QA, and Quality Engineering
• Maintain accurate maintenance records within the CMMS (Blue Mountain RAM)

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in maintenance and/or instrument calibration within a regulated environment
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of complex laboratory and manufacturing equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and instrument issues
• Willingness to support after-hours troubleshooting and participate in an on-call rotation
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with appropriate gowning and PPE
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined or elevated spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with documentation practices in regulated industries (GMP, ISO, FDA)
• Previous leadership experience
• Experience with CMMS systems such as BMRAM
