About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a regional team of Field Service Technicians supporting capital equipment and service offerings.
  • Drive a customer-first culture to ensure outstanding service and exceed customer expectations.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate direct reports to achieve organizational goals and performance standards.
  • Manage daily field service operations, including recruiting, retaining, and training team members.
  • Identify performance issues and implement corrective action plans to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensure service delivery meets contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and financial expectations.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and provide subject matter expertise as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Policy, Quality Systems, and all applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in engineering, electronics, biomedical technology, or a related STEM field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in field service, technical support, or equipment servicing roles.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a direct or indirect leadership role.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% to support the West US region.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with customers and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
  • More than 2 years of experience in a leadership role managing technical service teams.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, or industrial equipment.
  • Proven success in recruiting, selecting, and onboarding technical personnel.
  • Experience supporting remote or geographically dispersed teams across a large territory.
