Associate Manager, Accounting

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted Finance Partner to IQVIA India business teams, providing financial analysis, insights, and business partnering to leaders.
• Lead monthly management accounts closing and forecast processes, including data loading into financial systems.
• Analyze monthly actual financial results and prepare variance analysis against Plan and Forecast.
• Manage and present budget and forecast analysis to senior management during business reviews.
• Monitor and report on areas of operational risk and opportunity.
• Provide direction and guidance on cost optimization and efficiencies to the business.
• Review and suggest actions to automate or improve existing financial processes.
• Manage and review books of accounts in compliance with India GAAP and IQVIA Corporate accounting requirements.
• Ensure a robust audit trail and documentation for all financial transactions.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Management Accountant (CMA) degree.
• 4-6 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of India GAAP.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Proven track record in corporate finance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Healthcare, IT, or IT Services sectors.
• Experience working within a multinational company environment.
• Prior experience using SAP, PeopleSoft, or Oracle.
