About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance processes including automation, manufacturing equipment, electrical, refrigeration, and building upkeep
- Motivate, coach, and inspire a team of technicians to create a positive team dynamic
- Manage outside vendors and facilitate both planned and unplanned repairs
- Ensure compliance with all maintenance regulations
- Maintain a contractor list for emergency repairs
- Identify problems and brainstorm improvement ideas for the fulfillment center
Requirements
- 0 to 2+ years of experience managing facilities maintenance or reliability in Food, Beverage, Perishables, or Distribution industries
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics
- Exposure to mechanical, electrical, automation, and refrigeration systems
- Awareness of OSHA regulations and compliance
- Ability to work in cold environments (up to 40F)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and/or nights
