Associate Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists to develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models.
• Build and maintain MLOps pipelines, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS and Databricks for ML model development and deployment.
• Support the operationalization of GenAI models, including RAG pipelines, prompt configurations, and agent-based automations.
• Monitor AI and LLM systems for availability, latency, error rates, and quality degradation.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation regarding software architecture, design, and operations.
• Participate in incident triaging, root cause analysis, and mitigation activities for AI services.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in machine learning or software engineering.
• Strong foundations in machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps practices and tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Airflow.
• Proficiency in Python or R and relevant ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
• Understanding of the LLM inference lifecycle, including prompt execution and retrieval.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of GenAI tooling, including vector databases, LangChain, or agent frameworks.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Exposure to LLM evaluation techniques regarding grounding, faithfulness, and reliability.
