About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data scientists to develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models.
- Build and maintain MLOps pipelines, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS and Databricks for ML model development and deployment.
- Support the operationalization of GenAI models, including RAG pipelines, prompt configurations, and agent-based automations.
- Monitor AI and LLM systems for availability, latency, error rates, and quality degradation.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation regarding software architecture, design, and operations.
- Participate in incident triaging, root cause analysis, and mitigation activities for AI services.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in machine learning or software engineering.
- Strong foundations in machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps practices and tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Airflow.
- Proficiency in Python or R and relevant ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
- Understanding of the LLM inference lifecycle, including prompt execution and retrieval.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of GenAI tooling, including vector databases, LangChain, or agent frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
- Exposure to LLM evaluation techniques regarding grounding, faithfulness, and reliability.
