Associate, Logistics

Responsibilities

• Support program depot and shipment operations by defining logistics priorities in partnership with engineering and customer teams
• Conduct asset visibility and obsolescence mitigation for program system sustainment material
• Manage secure facilities and support equipment to ensure efficient program operations and cost reduction
• Develop strategies for tracking program assets, spare parts, and equipment through regular audits
• Identify and acquire packaging, preservation, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) requirements
• Monitor and track the movement of supplies, repairable products, and maintenance shipments between customer sites and depots
• Develop and manage depot/logistics metrics and KPIs
• Generate reports for Lab Managers, Lab Custodians, and Quality Assurance

Requirements

• Must be an active member of the U.S. Military with 180 days or fewer of service remaining prior to separation
• Must have at least 180 continuous days of active service
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience OR an Associate's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Asset Management tools
• Experience in a fast-paced, continuous change integration environment
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with business development, program management, and external customers
• Familiarity with hardware and system-level documentation, including mechanical drawings
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Visio, and Word
