About the role

Responsibilities

  • Handle all operational aspects of the loan trading business from execution through closing, including trade booking, confirmations, and settlement coordination.
  • Analyze primary and secondary bank loan trades to ensure accurate trade capture, position maintenance, and risk exposure.
  • Compile and distribute daily flash reports, including trade blotters, outstanding positions, cash movements, and end-of-day P&L.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management to monitor issuer, facility, and counterparty exposure.
  • Work closely with Middle Office, Back Office, Operations, and Technology teams to resolve trade discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Coordinate amendment and waiver execution across traders, research, and legal teams to ensure documentation is accurately reflected in systems.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting and automate processes through technology and workflow optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in loan trading support, middle office, or capital markets operations.
  • Strong understanding of syndicated loans, primary and secondary loan markets, and the trade lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with risk concepts including exposure limits, liquidity risk, and counterparty risk.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced trading environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with specific loan trading, booking, or settlement systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to capital markets activities.
