Associate, Life Sciences

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and recommend investment opportunities in drug development and biopharmaceutical companies
• Support scientific and clinical due diligence by integrating preclinical data, clinical trial results, and regulatory strategy
• Develop and present rigorous investment theses to senior stakeholders and the global Investment Committee
• Coordinate third-party scientific advisors, KOLs, and commercial consultants across the deal process
• Monitor portfolio companies and support capital allocation and value creation efforts
• Leverage clinical and industry networks to generate proprietary deal flow and market intelligence

Requirements

• MD or PhD in a relevant scientific field such as molecular biology, genetics, biology, or chemistry
• 2-5 years of post-graduate professional experience
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the life sciences sector (investing, strategy consulting, equity research, or biopharma operating roles)
• Ability to analyze preclinical/clinical data and FDA/regulatory correspondence
• Strong foundation in financial modeling
• High degree of familiarity with drug development and regulatory processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
