Associate Leverage Capital Markets

Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative capital markets solutions focused on debt transactions for Leveraged Capital Markets and institutional investor distribution
• Assist in the origination of Leveraged Capital Markets (LCM) opportunities within the broader Capital Markets Group team
• Support senior team members in determining pricing, assessing market liquidity, and defining execution strategies
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of investor and financial sponsor requirements regarding risk appetite, structure, and pricing
• Collaborate with distribution and syndicate teams to optimize financing solutions and implement originate-to-distribute strategies
• Oversee the preparation of underwriting applications, deal screening memos, and high-quality market research for client presentations
• Manage information flow and transaction processes from initial analysis through to completion and execution
• Work collaboratively with junior colleagues to ensure accuracy in comparable analysis, pricing databases, and pipeline reporting

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of work experience in Financial Markets (experience in Leveraged Finance is viewed favorably)
• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or business-related fields
• Strong analytical background with high attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Solid understanding of loan or bond markets
• Ability to work effectively both in teams and autonomously
• Resourceful, "can-do" attitude with strong interpersonal skills
